Bright Ideas

Soooooo.....

I've been knocking around the idea of setting up an Etsy shop of knitted items.

The list of things I can make includes scarves, hand towels, pillow covers, purses and (I think) aprons, as well as baby blankets, burp cloths, washcloths and bibs.  And I intend to learn more.

I have no grand ideas that I am some awesomely skilled knitter already.  Nor do I think this will become some big money-making venture.  But, it could make me a little money, and there's certainly nothing wrong with that!  I just see an opportunity to try something sitting right in front of me and I think I'd be burning a bridge if I didn't give it a shot.

But what to call this possible little shop of knits?  Brainstorming words that come to mind one can associate with me....

Jennifer, Jenni, Jen, Ann, Hall, JAH
Knit(s), Knitting, Stitch(es), Purl, Needles, Yarn,
Simple, Angel, Woman, Mom, Wife, Married, Family,
Marysville, Washington, April, 1974,
Blind, Love, Blue, Home, ...

BlindLoveKnits?  SimpleStitches?  PurlNeedles?  JenKnitsYarn?  AnnAprilAngel?

OK, just wanted to put that out there.  Letting it sink in for now.  But feel free to throw suggestions at me!

Another idea I got was to switch our 2 desks, the one in the living room for the computer and the one in our bedroom for the rest of our household files, papers and...crap.  I really don't want an ugly cluttered desk in the living room and I've been trying not to let it be so.  But I guess my loathing of the mail doesn't help.  That, and the actual physical space behind the couch was feeling a little too cramped.  The desk in our bedroom is 4-5 inches skinnier than the desk we had here in the living room.

When I decide something needs to be rearranged I kind of obsess about it until it gets done.  Mark agreed that it was a good idea, but I don't think he appreciated that I wanted to do it NOW.  Being the good hubby that he is, though, he complied.  Turned out he had to remove our bedroom door in order to get the wider living room desk through it!  I kept apologizing for my craziness.
