Bloggy Business

Tis the end of another month.....Halloween is tomorrow.....November is beginning...

ALL this week!

OK so, these aren't earth-shattering events. Nevertheless, I feel it's a good time to do some bloggy housekeeping.

First, you may or may not have noticed that I've removed both the Did You Know? and TGIF badges from my sidebar. This is because they are simply not big linky hits. It's fine. I'm cool with it. However, this means I am not going to be hosting any on-going linkies for the foreseeable future, and I'm sorry if that makes the 4 of you who sometimes participated sad.

On the other hand, I am thinking about hosting a Thankful Thursday linky during November, what with it being Thanksgiving month and all.....

Which leads me into my next thing: I have decided to do NaBloPoMo again this year. While starting to think of what to blog about each day, I thought of Thankful Thursday (which I can start on the 1st!)....and might as well make it a link-up!

Good idea, right? Of course it is!

So gone are the regulars, Did You Know? and TGIF, and here are spontaneous, because I feel like it link-ups.

Got it? Of course you do!

Gosh, who knew I'd go the spontaneous route with blogging? Spontaneity has not always been a strength of mine.

Lastly, do you guys remember WAY BACK last year when I started knitting legwarmers? Well. I'm totally gonna finish and wear them to my next Wine Club.

Why to Wine Club, you wonder? Well.....we crazy girls are having an 80s night next time because Rock of Ages is out on DVD. Totally radical!

And then.....I want the legwarmers to be TRAVELLING legwarmers! That's right, after I've worn them, I will send them to the person who instigated the whole thing: The Sarcasm Goddess. I will badger her into wearing them and sharing the experience with us, and then she will send them off to someone. And she will like it!

To recap:
  • No more Did You Know? or TGIF
  • NaBloPoMo
  • Thankful Thursdays in November
  • Travelling Legwarmers
Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Halloween tomorrow! I'm thinking about letting my kids walk with their friends for the first time. Thankfully, I feel like they'll be pretty safe in our neighborhood. And if I know my kids at all, they'll feel the need to check in regularly without my even asking.
